| Providence Regional Cancer Partnership is a new 100,000 square foot outpatient cancer center located in Everett, a bedroom community north of Seattle.
The owner sought to provide both the clinical expertise and facility ambience that would make patients feel comfortable choosing their local facility rather than commuting to urban Seattle for services.
The art program is evidence-based and features imagery and artists of the Pacific Northwest. Patient focus groups were an integral part of the selection process.
The collection consists of unique paintings, textiles and works on paper in the main public areas and photography and limited editions throughout all patient spaces. There are 130 works of art in the facility, all chosen to reduce stress and give hope to those who receive treatment at the facility.
