Clara is a seasoned professional in the design industry, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Art Studies. As the Director of Consulting for American Art Resources, she brings over 20 years of expertise in consulting, marketing, sales, and project management within the architectural and interior design sectors. With skills in team leadership, art programming coordination, local artist program integration, and developing artwork standards, Clara has managed over 1,000 projects ranging from 250,000 to 1,300,000 square feet and budgets of up to $1.6 million. Her ability to align client needs with collaborative design team efforts ensures innovative, cost-effective, and cohesive results.

 

Clara’s portfolio includes diverse healthcare environments, such as acute care, pediatrics, cardiac, cancer, and rehabilitation facilities across 27 states. Notable projects include the Memorial Hermann Sarofim Pavilion at the Texas Medical Center, Houston Methodist Walter Tower at the Texas Medical Center, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center South Tower Expansion, Burnett School of Medicine at Texas Christian University, Integris Health Heart Hospital, Duke University School of Nursing and Bed Tower, and Vidant Cancer Center. Her expertise in creating art programs tailored to client visions and brands, including budget hierarchies and placement plans, reflects her commitment to enhancing patient experiences and achieving design excellence.
