The collection features works by North Carolina artists, highlighting the colors, textures, and scenery of the Coastal Plains, Piedmont, and Appalachian Mountains.

Designed to create a calming, community-centered environment, the program connects patients, visitors, and staff to the familiar beauty of their surroundings. Each piece reflects the state’s spirit of resilience and warmth, using nature as a source of comfort and healing.

By integrating locally sourced artwork, American Art Resources helped Duke Health establish a cohesive visual identity across its expanding network.
