The 351,636 square-foot, eight-story tower addition at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center now serves as the prominent new front entrance, welcoming a growing and diverse cultural population. This art program showcases a vibrant collection of works that blend seamlessly with the hospital’s architecture, enhancing the aesthetic experience for visitors, patients, and staff alike. Dedicated spaces within the tower are specifically allocated to highlight local and diverse artists, ensuring that the art program reflects the community’s rich cultural tapestry. Public areas of the tower are adorned with large-scale modern artworks, including glass, ceramic, paintings, and wall sculptures. In patient spaces, the design adopts an evidence-based approach, meticulously crafted to support a healing environment.
