A Season of Thanks, A Celebration of Art
With the season of gratitude upon us, we want to say thank you to our clients, collaborators, and community for inspiring us every day. At American Art Resources, we are deeply appreciative of the partnerships that allow us to bring creativity and purpose to every project. Your trust empowers us to keep transforming blank walls into meaningful spaces, reminding us how powerful art can be when shared together.
2025 HCD CONFERENCE + EXPO
We recently attended the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo in Kansas City, an inspiring event that brings together professionals passionate about improving healthcare environments through design. The sessions sparked great conversations about innovation and creativity in healthcare spaces, and it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with so many like-minded partners and peers. We were proud to share our history and expertise in creating meaningful art programs that support healing, comfort, and connection in care settings.
AAR PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
HCA CORPORATE OFFICE
This month, we’re highlighting a favorite project from our archives—artwork we created for HCA’s corporate office in Nashville. The collection feels especially fitting for November, featuring rich autumnal tones, warm textures, and imagery that mirrors the season’s natural beauty. Designed to complement the office’s neutral palette and cozy atmosphere, each piece adds depth and warmth to the space while reflecting HCA’s culture of care and connection.

Fresh Arts Opens Applications for STAR program
Fresh Arts is now accepting applications for its Space Taking Artist Residency (STAR) program, entering its sixth year. The program offers Houston-based artists, curators, and collectives nine weeks of mentor-led professional development, followed by eight weeks of access to a 2,500-square-foot gallery space at Winter Street Studios. Designed to elevate underrepresented voices, the residency encourages artists to activate the space through exhibitions, performances, and community programs. Selected residents receive a $3,600 honorarium and additional stipends for project promotion. Two artists or teams will be chosen for 2026 residency periods in spring and summer.
Applications are due Friday, December 5, at 11:59 p.m.
